The dictionary defines mentoring as advising or training, but to HORUS, mentoring means so much more. Only through true dedication and support can we create a foundation on which to build a sustainable and thriving business.

That’s why we developed the HORUS Academy—Beyond the Boundaries program, which offers incubator space to support our mentor relationships. Mentee companies receive office space and access to conference rooms and HORUS team members who provide administrative, financial, estimating, and marketing support.

Use of the incubator facilities is free for the first six months and a progressive sliding scale cost for the second six months, which helps prepare them to afford a stand-alone facility.

Beyond the Boundaries follows a three-step process:

Demonstrate

Mentees are incorporated into meetings, planning and the day-to-day activities of HORUS to expose them to real-world contract opportunities and partners.

Coach

Based on a needs assessment, the HORUS team offers hands-on and technical assistance to coach Mentees through the procurement process and other foundational items needed for growth and sustainability.

Enable

Create ongoing opportunities for Mentees to sustain and scale independently.
